A crow caws mournful
jet black in the green pine
echoing bleak sorrow
that is mine all mine
I gaze on your photo
so lifeless and cold
my arms reaching empty
ever aching to enfold
So death the despoiler
a breaker of hearts
An eternal question
why,why must we part
memories are sweet
now sharp with pain
deaths darkness is fleet
bleak emptiness remain
We grieve regret deplore
But what once existed
will never,never no more

This rung with the sadness of looking out the funeral parlor window on an overcast day. It made me thin of the Raven by Edgar Allen Poe. You did great in relaying your emotions, very straight forward and blunt but you still managed to make it artistic.
Lovely job dear!
