As I walk upon this lane
Filled with memories, forgotten.
Hearing nothing but the falling rain;
Reminiscing the memories once again.
Forgotten names and bleary images
Stir within my mind.
I’m like a book with missing pages,
Pages lost behind.
The names I knew well once before
Is fading out in me.
The faces I knew, I remember no more;
It scattered like debris.
Looking, now, for the names I lost,
Their faces and memories.
The missing stories and how much it has cost,
Rewriting the pages before it flees.
Now, as I walk upon this lane
Filled with fragments of memories, forgotten.
Hearing vague voices in the falling rain;
Reminiscing the memories again and again.

I love the dusky feeling in this poem. The rhyme was awesome too. luckily, I realized it early on.
Sadness is portrayed beautifull with the phrase prompt. The font colour was beautiful too. resembled the rain. good luck!!

thank you soooooo much for following the rules
i felt this poem had great imgeary.
it was truly imaginative with some nice metaphors.
but i felt the rhyme made the flow of the poem a little choppy at the end.
but nonetheless, great entry!
