You are my peace

I lay it all at your feet
I trust in You with all that I am
I call upon your holy name
knowing that you always understand.
So, no more fears, no more doubts
No more anxiety, no more worries.

In Your arms I can rest
living my life at my best
I can forget the past
and not think of the future
For, in You, there's only peace
A love beyond any measure or words
that quiets and soothes my very soul

So, yes, there are unanswered questions
that threaten to invade my mind at every second
But I shall not give in
I shall not let anything come between your love for me

I will not lean on my own understanding
for human knowlege is weak and uncertain
I will not fear the unknown
for Your promises go above and beyond 
I will not fear
for you are my God, my Savior, my Light and Salvation

So, shoo to all these thoughts
that make me restless and uneasy
Shoo to all the feelings that lurk in hidden corners
For through You, I am made new
my Prince of Peace, my Everything
