I want to say something…
But all I hear
are silent screams
of dreams I can’t remember.
You were my hero
yet I was left with nothing
but lies
to compromise the road
and undermine the journey
of who I might have been.

Exceptionally well done and the pour of emotion is amazing. Just enough. More would be - too much.
Brilliant writing here. ~Pamela

Very short write, but these few words were extremely stabbing at the heart and soul. I do still hear and feel the silent screams of that dissisocation for what amount of time I was betrayed by the family that I loved. I can definitely grab your betrayal in your heart through this write. Thank you for sharing your personal pain. You are very strong for doing so.
