her guilt consumes her,
as she tells them she is fine,
she never used to lie,
she lies to people that,
she never thought she could,
she hates that she has to now,
but if she were to say,
what was really going on
no one would really understand,
she is forced to put on this fake smile
and pretend that everything is okay.
even though it never seems to be anymore.

I have a song that I think you should listen to, perhaps it will do something for you, as it did for me. It's called "Alyssa Lies" and it's sung by Jason Michael Carrol I think but that's definitely the name of the song anyway. My reason for suggesting you listen to it will become clear after you hear the words....
well written this was, and straight from the heart - it can be so easy to bottle it all up and lie and say "im fine" to the world, but one day it might not turn out as well as you thought your disguise did

I hear you and have been there myself
I use to think the same way but a man caught me crying one day and he told me honey put it on my shoulders and I will take it with me .No one had asked me to do this before so he waited silently and I began to thik if God sent an angel would he help me in this way .So I began slowely telling this stranger everything that was weighing me down and how I got to this point and once everything was out in the open I began to think of how things were before all this began to happen . Once I stopped talking he smiled and whispered now you can let your wishes come through and take one step at a time back to the happy person you once were . The pain the sorrows and the scars from days past I take with me today and he smiled put his hand under my chin and held me there until I looked up.
Oh when you see love in anothers eyes so honest so silent yet you know it had to be an angel for we each are there for one another .Often we are sent to meet just to help each other over the hurtles of life .So always know I am here you can talk to me and only the two of us will know but in the telling you will find the answer you are so searching for .The answer that we are only human and the path we take isnt just one direction we have the power to change at any time to bring our life back on line and know love joy and happiness . Im here for you honey talk to me for to keep it inside with you only the judge and jury its a no win situation you need to have someone you can talk to as a sounding board to really see ahead
