In the quiet serene of the darkened chapel,
Flickering candle light, in the shadow of the cross.
Luminescence shines down upon my soul,
There on my knees, I feel pain in loss.

Take me Lord, and make me Yours,
Bring me past the things, that to sin compell.
So, no longer blackened, or far from you,
Forgive these wrongs, that would destine to hell.

Let Your pure sweet love, so consume,
That peace may emanate from deep within.
Let me see my brothers, as would have you.
And lastly, the hope to be forgiven.

I feel joy radiate my life anew.
Tears fall in gladness, my heart reborn.
For as a Christian, I was born and raised,
But only now converted, from sins grasp torn!

A light shines from Your beloved face,
Upon the cross in the chapel here
The momentary silence, acknowledged in love,
You have made my life so crystal clear!

As you forgave, I must forgive,
For it is now in my heart, that You live.
Of my new existence, I must expound,
And love my brother, with love new found!
