Out Of Time

High-jacked,
     by grandpa's pendulum,
          nowhere... on route 66

Time
     eclipsed into staleness,
          stagnant breaths gasped,
               from niche of hell's shoulder

love
     presses man beyond limitations,
          entrapped becomes the feeble mind,
               pumped with love's heroin addiction

Stabbed,
     eyes pierce soul and sinew,
          glowing like hot daggers,
               strewn from darkened curtains

Adrenaline,
     surge through nested seas,
as if arrow from Cupid's quiver,
but haste lend life to night

Hollowed,
     thick thatches sway beneath gloom,
          devil's fingers primp and pinch...
               squeaks protrude, cursing the moon

Voices,
     inaudible chants and divination,
hex upon hex deterring my steps,
but... I the fool, am  in love

Lost,
     behind me, my path breeched,
          like trust broken between two,
               steps scurry, scant of view

Distant,
     a window, lit with silhouette,
          my heart rants with anticipation,
for ahead.. I saw my destination

Ghostly,
     two silhouettes merged beyond flicker,
then bending to flame as if a moth..
               blinds fall... lights...  off

Broken,

like a jester evicted from queen's court,

exiled from swollen eyes, a tear falls,

submitted to the night, I fade into hell's abyss
