it's 9:36 AM
and i'm up like a star,
coruscating as the earth
and my lively vigilance rotate
rare nocturnality:
i raise my arms as a planet,
when Venus, although a celestial symmetry
is expansive to the south
upon our globe
without a shadow of a telescope,
transiting my moonlit window
the scale of my nature-bred mood
is high today
among many camera worthy twinkles
if looking towards my section of the sky
