Each diagnosis' definition;
Descriptions of the varied "symptoms;"
I am so overwhelmed.
Each day I'm faced with some new challenge
I must maintain a "healthy balance;"
Everyone gives me their "advice;"
Can they not see, this is my Life?
Feeling like the rat that's caged;
Experimented on each day.
They measure each cause and effect;
Oh, but they're not finished yet...
"That didn't work? Well, try another,
This pill will help you while you slumber,
And here's one that will help you wake;
But don't forget these you must take"
My worlds's a medicated haze;
I'm often in a drugged up daze.
I'm starting to feel somewhat crazed;
I'm just SO overwhelmed.

Beautiful description of being overmedicated and as a result overwhelmed. I felt a small bit of sarcastic humor rise up in me because I know how you feel, you should see the zombie who wake up in the morning! lol!
Great write and blessings to you in the contest.
Peace to you friend and God bless you.

I can relate to this. This is exactly how I feel with depression.
In the first stanza line 3, I think you meant 'symptoms'.
I think, in the second stanza line three, you meant 'their'.
I really like this btw. Good luck with the contest.

This is wonderful. And I can see how one could get overwhelmed with all these things going on. I would hate it personally. Which is why I'm just crazy without the pills. lol. Excellent write in a most superb way.
