I am a deer
sleek of coat
brown color
running through the woods
without a care in the world.
I am pretty to look at
but deadly on the road.
Watch out for me
cuz I never look both ways.

deers are very pretty creatures. However, I have hit 2 with damage to my vehicles while driving to work. Pretty creatures but deadly.

Sweet poem - a tribute to one of the most beautiful North American creatures. We rehab over 30 deer each year. Many are orphans to casualties of car wrecks. Thanks for entering my contest. I'm honered. BTW, what would you like to be in my family?
