Race to what (HM )

Parchment of flesh absorbing printed ink

age old

broken English

art of word

scriptures filed ring bound.

Olympian the messenger,

fails not the final hurdle.

Class this race of creed,

ever more powerful

Third world pays a price

tumble the shares

bells rung on the market of stocks.

Oils spill upon the oceans

rigged in storms ever lashing the shores,

crash to rock the world

Icy freeze

bares the tremble

under foot this earth did quake

fallen cities rest in rubble

as did this wall tumble.

gave me the chills you did. I really love the effect of the very last two stanzas..it builds, and explodes on impact. Awesome. I also like the fact that what appears at first a simple rhyme carries the weight of the world on it's back. NOt an eaasy thing to do for most people. You of course are not most people
wonderful, sad, depressing but true, true, true.
Listed. I think you're either going to have your own favorites list, or I need to expand
    Much love and best wishes,
