Night of the Angels falling

Far from the world I stand forlorn;
as the day fades, the black night is born,
and the cold stars begin to shine,
hidden away in the dark veil-
only the Moonlight shall prevail,
I dream of my place divine.

Suddenly the Heavens turn all to gray,
I feel the urge to run away,
as something grim is passing near,
when the sharp blaze crosses my sight,
the clouded sky burns in bright light,
I can't move, overwhelmed by fear.

Ref1: With silent voices I hear them calling,
as in agony they lose their lives,
on the night of the Angles falling,
the foul shades drop their disguise,
and as they trap me in delusion,
I cringe in fright of the unknown,
only my thoughts stray in confusion,
it feels like dying on my own.

Shooting stars are tearing the sky,
in fiery trail descend to die,
on  broken wings, in painful bound,
in torturous hold of candent chains,
they're burning! Just the dust remains,
as they're dashing towards the ground.

The wind blows their ashes to my face,
I'm grounded in a dread embrace,
and tears are welling from my eyes.
The foreboding arising deep within,
that something worse is yet to begin,
in terror makes me realize:

Ref2:...This is the omen of a new dawning,
in destruction and the Heavens’ rage,
on the night of the Angels falling,
the world is about to change.
This is the night without tomorrow,
we won't survive till the other day,
without mercy, we will follow,
as those Angels, we'll die away.

    Awesome!

This is wonderful! Descriptive, elaborate and believeable all in one. You do have a talent. Am off to read moar poems from you!!

Also, I REALLY like this bit:

''hidden away in the dark veil-
    only the Moonlight shall prevail,''

In addition, I've felt like this at my Nana's ash scattering after the funeral. My emotions fluctated and I felt like the world was crashing. x
