Student of life

brilliant in a subject
is only a part of life,
we learn them in school.

what about life
does curriculum teaches us on life,
how to live a life free of conflict,
and the purpose of life.

the greatest art on earth
is art of living,
that no university teaches,
one is a teacher and a taught
in life long learning.

without becoming good human being
there is no basis for becoming anything,
what ever we become,
it is all ashes
failing to give light.

    This is a timely poem - how do we learn to live well, when we may not have examples of people who know? It used to be the role of grandparents to guide the younger ones, but the family is too mobile and old people live separately. Without this knowledge so much time and energy are wasted. You have pressed a hot button here! Best wishes.
