Whispers

Bright eyes meeting across the room
Secret smiles shared, they're in love
Nobody knows, but everyone would care
So they whisper.

Chuckles and quiet laughter shared together
Secret memories of unknown bliss
They had every stolen moment together
But it wasn't enough ...

The parents, they discovered the secret affair
They flew in a rage, seperated them
Oh they couldn't cope without eachother
What about suicide?

Author notes

This is a very quick piece. Took about 5-10 minutes. Lol, was writing it with my friend Sana at lunch.

What do you think? What would you change?

I plan to revise this poem: please leave constructive criticism!

      Thankies!

Lol ... Thanks! I've never even read/seen Romeo and Juliet, but I imagine this poem must be rather like it. x
