Today we come together
to memoralized courage.
Courage once lived inside each of us.
When it was deseased it resided in just a few.
We once celebrated the richness of courage,
for it was a part of the strength we lived by.
Prefering to always work harder than to accept handouts.
Courage to face what life dealt us and to raise children
to do the same.
Courage will be greatly missed by too many.
So as we have gathered today,
we will say goodbye to a once fine trait found in all.
In all that is good in life, courage will surely be missed.

Not to be difficult, but this seems to be more of a eulogy than an obituary. I think that if you could remove any an all use of the first person, it would sound more like an obituary.Thank you for entering my contest.
