How many arms have held you ?
and never wanted let go
how many how many I wonder
but never want to know
How many lips have kissed you ?
and set your soul a glow
how many how many I wonder
but never want to know
How hands have touched you ?
touch your very soul
how many how many I wonder
but never want to know
How many hearts have broken?
before yours found mine
how many how many I wonder
but never want to know
How tears have fallen ?
from your bright blue eyes
how many how many i wonder
but never want to know

very nice, makes you think of things in the past.

Well, the repetition was too much. After the second stanza, it was predictable, boring, cliche, so I didn't even bother reading the last two lines of the rest of the stanzas.

This was a very profound poem, and it was impressive that you were able to use repetition in such a tasteful way that didn't get irritating.
The only change I would really make is adding a comma between each 'how many' in the repeating lines.
But thank you for sharing this; I think it captures a lot of unacknowledged feeling by a lot of people, and it was interesting to see something so common from your perspective. -
Great piece
A few suggestions
title How Many I Wonder
How many how many I wonder?
and never wanted to let go,
how many how many I wonder?
but never want tto know.
How many lips have kissed you?
and set your soul aglow,
how many how many I wonder?
but never want to know.
How many have touched you?
touched your very soul,
how many how many I wonder?
but never want to know.
How many hearts have been broken?
before yours found mine ,
how many how many I wonder?
through the hourglass of time.
How many tears have fallen?
from your bright blue eyes,
how many how many I wonder?
fed upon you with their lies.
Through the storm within my heart and mind,
I love you more each day.
As you will my life joy and smiles,
I want it no other way.
How many how many I wonder?
feels their loss this day.
How about that for your notes truly compleed this poem

I love how the poem is so lifelike, in the fact that you always ask yourself the questions that you will never actually voice to your lover. A very moving write.

"How many arms have held you ?
and never wanted let go "
Wow that is such a profound sentence, truly, it has set me thinking - and of the hugs that Ive given where I myself haven't wanted to let go ... you could run a contest with that as the prompt; indeed perhaps you should ... wow ...
