What eternal hold does Love have on me?
What cruel games does it seem to play?
For how sad can Love really be?
What bitter torment must i feel even to this day?

Will Love ever find me?
For its Love I cannot steal.
Without Love can I see?
For its true Love I`d never really feel.

What evil and nocturnal hold does Hatred have on me?
For what or who makes Hatred so cruel?
This Hatred is busy like a bee,
Trying to make me look like a fool.

How much Hatred is really in this town?
The kind that seems to drive me mad.
This Hatred seems to make people act like clowns,
For by Hatred have I really been had?

Does the Love seem to overpower?
But how strong can this Hatred be??
Will I know during my final hour???
What will happen to me????

    There truly is a thin line between love and hate my friend. And sometimes we don't know when we've crossed over until its too late. Beautifully expressed.

    the last lines of stanzas one and two had just a few too many syllables, but overall i can feel the torment behind this write. i hope things work out...

    Great job on the poem!!! I have to agree with Pisces rainbow we choose who we love and who we hate. It might be wrong to hate someone but it is what we feel! great job again
