Mercury Rising...

A girl trapped by
walls of red,
poisonous secrets
fill her head.

Her mind rages
like a storm,
reality can't
keep it's form.

Her whole life
shatters in her
palm, she feels
like crying it's
a struggle to go
on...

feelings of hatred
envelop her whole,
as she tries to hide
her torn soul.

A mirror lays
beside her split
in two, her hopes
and dreams she
thinks are through.

As tears of sorrow
puddle onto the floor,
she watches as someone
else opens her door.

Another girl
her face pale,
she tries to
smile but she
fails.

A look of understanding
crosses their face,
as they begin to
close the void of
space.

Together they go
into their tomorrows,
putting behind all
their pain and sorrows!

The mercury falls...
