can't press play
afraid memories will be erased
that's what i was worried about for
the past year and a half
Four months of insanity
long days of rehearsals
long nights of shows and the after parties
which followed
when I left I feared the worst
I knew goodbye meant
I wouldn't see these people
for awhile
my last night there
was filled with mostly smiles
though I almost cried
at the mere thought of saying
goodbye
Why did I let myself worry so much
that I was going to be forgotten about?
I caused myself so much anxiety
I did not need
(there are quite a few people who can agree with that statement)
moving on doesn't mean forgetting
and years from now
we'll all look back
shall we ever again cross paths
we'll smile and laugh
at all the crazy times we had
"It's something unpredicatable
but in the end is right
I hope you had the time of youur life."
Author notes
so i have been kind of obsessivley worried that i am going to be forgotten by all the people i worked with at the New London Barn Playhouse last summer.. this poem is basically how i've gotten over the whole "I'm gonna be forgotten about by them" thing and how i'm moving on. which is good because all my friends and family are sick of hearing me talk about it

I'm glad that you got your feelings out. The thing is, if people remember you, then that means you have really done something to make an impression on them. If they don't remember, then they're not worth having around. That's the way that I see it. Like the song says:
It's something unpredictable
but in the end is right
I hope you had the time of your life
it sums up the whole thing.
I noticed a few minor spelling errors. but it didn't distract from the whole thing. Like in one stanza, you didn't capitalize the "i", and in the last sentence, you added an extra "u".
All in all, nice piece
