He looks at me with those deep brown eyes
Longing and pleading with his doggy smile
He trots to my feet with his collar and lead
Making me feel guilty by sitting on his hind legs and begging me
Ok I give in
You can have your way
As you do make me laugh
And I know you will make my day
He follows me around like a lost lamb
Buckling with excitment, as he knows my plan
I gather his belongings
His balls, his thrower, his nappy sacks
Oh lets not forget that large doggy towel
Ok Norbi lets get on our way
I reckon I will take you down the beach today
You can bark your little head off
And give me that much loved migraine
He sniffs everything with each opportunity
He's pulling on that damn lead
Smelling the salt air from the sea
He seems to know exactly where we are heading
Ok Norbi lets get this straight
I am the boss and you will behave
He looks up and seems to know..
With a hidden cheeky smile he pulls once more
