And God created heaven and earth
in time-less fashion ~
tainted heroics magnified
the splendor of Innocence,
bespoken evil permeated even
the faithful into rebellion.
Herald angels in guise of
authority,
clad by satanic ritual,

descended the hill side,
incensed madness swept
across a shelter where
only the animals were invited guests.
As the falcon falls to the earth,
a sigh so deep trembles the
core of mankind.

Great imagery here. I really enjoyed, especially "only the animals were invited guests."

Thank you for this entry, and a great response to the prompt poem. Good imagery, good flow, and a painful message.

In the penultimate line, maybe you could lose the first 'so'. There is also a confusing change in tense during the poem, but I liked the way the falcon is falling, as if this is still happening.
