Deep in the wooded grove,
a monument does stand
Paying homage to what came before,
on a level mighty grand
The pathway leads to enlightenment,
the stairs are coarse and steep
Along the way, the puzzles of life,
that you’ll find quite deep
If you have the answers to,
those queries that you’re asked
The riddles that have been plaguing you,
may just be unmasked
The answer to the greater good,
or the betterment of man
Can be all yours to keep forever,
to hold right in your hand
You twist and turn you feel your way,
the resolutions lie right ahead
But know this now with one wrong turn,
you may wind up quite dead
The answers are not for everyone,
they can fill you with such greed
With the knowledge comes responsibility,
guidelines you must heed
You stop upon that very last step,
is all this knowledge meant for you
As you turn and walk away,
a thought comes breezing through
You have been enlightened,
for you’ve passed that special test
You’ve proven worth by turning around,
With the truth you’ve been blessed
