i believe in what you say

lie is such a strong word
especially while talking about self image
and how exactly we are received by our own eyes

false beliefs fall from my tongue
by the time your ear picks them up
the only lie is the one i tell

"i believe in what you say"

but i don't
instead i draw back my hands
and retreat

Didn't get it at first but now, the theme is about when we lie too much, eventually, we'll have to give up or be caught, either way, we can't lie forever, right?

Weirdly, this theme reminds me of a case where a pathological liar is free, living truthfully, maybe.

Good piece, anyway; simple lines, great meaning they held

    Great Write

This poem tells so many truths in such a compact space
"false belifes fall from my tounge by the time your ears picks them up the only lie is the only one i tell." this is good because sometimes we tell lies to puff ourselfs up so we are more important than we are or to get some to like us, Then after we do get what we want or sometimes we don't get what we want then we look back seeing the pile of B.S. we stacked and can't belive we still don't stink lol.lol.
So this was a great write.
