Looking ahead at winter flowers
his creativity inspires beauty seen on his face and through his hands.
My strength could be his shield
we could lay naked in those winter flowers warmed only be the earth.
Bedroom, ceiling dark and awake
Discover yourself before you discover others was the key from a teacher long ago.
My requiem falters, oozes to the floor
I have no strength in myself, how can I be strong for him?

a very colorful scenario created here through only few, well chosen words ... a thoughtful and insightful verse that does not leave the reader lukewarm ...
I loved the way you integrated a quote associated with "the teacher" in your poem ... one of my favorite quotes ...
thank you,
maa
