This gently aging window frame
with curtains open wide,
taking all the outside in,
exposing all inside...
This brightly burning candle,
attempting a steady glow,
still guttering and fluttering
when Fate's winds sometimes blow...
This soft and joyous blossom
reaching up for all it's worth,
roots driving deep to untilled depths
Within sweet Spirit's earth...
This tender word from silent Voice,
from Heart's love I expand,
shouting, singing, whispering
eternally, "I Am"

yes !
wow, I just "gave" margaret my symbolic gold medal, but I am troubled now, since your verse is as golden to me as hers ...
I loved the first stanza, it is just amazingly graceful and powerful ...
another masterpiece ...
much love,
your big sister

We Are
Thank you dear big/little sister/brother/self. No need to be troubled. Every outflow of Light, every delving into the depth of Self, is the shining golden illumination of What Is. I'm just happy that I am again letting myself be inspired to express that Light that comes through this point of Being. Recogniton as gold silver, bronze is less important to me than touching even one other life with the Light that is mine to share... "This soft and joyous blossom/reaching up for all it's worth"..."This brightly burning candle"..."This gently aging window frame"...
Grateful love ever returned,
Your brother Rahad

Beautiful
So many metaphors, well done! This is very gentle and true to what I have seen. The verse is lovely, but not as fine as its subject.

What a beautiful description, that speaks of love and gentleness, acceptance, and so much joy; it gives joy in return to read and contemplate these words and how personal they are to the writer. May your spirit shout and sing its essence forevermore.

Thank you, bright star. Though the words and images are of my choice, I hope the essence shared here will be recognized as the Identity of all.
Shine ever brightly,
Rahad
