"The volume could break glass
It is so overpowering this silence I hear.
A sound so deafening as to drown the past
I am so tired of submitting to all that I fear..."
The darkness consumes me on a scale so vast
That even in the present it's merely a dark frontier.
But I cling to the void in hope that the silence won't last
That whispers of light will someday appear.
For now I wander as the glass threatens to blast
Throwing me over sanity's edge into that spiralling sphere.

I've been meaning to read your work. I always find my eye attracted to your name on the list. Alice in Wonderland always intrigued me somehow. Anyway, I'm not a critic or anything. Not anymore anyway. I think the "glass" imagery is cool. A symbol that ends up in my own writing on occasion. Anyway, I'll think about you next time "my mind is moving low."
