for all the nights I can't remember
I write a tender reminder
in every single moment I find a memory hiding
in every single memory I find a moment sighing
in every single sigh I find forever yearning
for all the nights I can't remember
I come home, in the single moment
... come home, in the memory lost
... home, in the sighs of seasons
I come home ... in the yearning's urge
for all the nights I can't remember
I write a gentle reminder
in every single movement I find a moan heaving
in every single moan I find a movement weaving
in every weave I find longing
for all the nights I can't remember
Please remember me, motion forgotten
... remember me, oh moans aside
... me, moon-woven memories
remember me ... oh joyous cries

This feels like it should be put to music...it's soulful, and gentle, and full of heart. The way you've constructed this piece works beautifully. Clever penning, and nice use of the prompt. Thank you so much for your entry

Descrining the momments of the longing through the words is the serious poetry with so much touching images..It is really a heartfelt poetry you brought...well done..

Until very recently, most of my nights were regrettably forgettable but now the motions write themselves in exquisite verses like this one on my heart and mind. Good luck in the contest.
Sincerely,
