Landslide

In a flash of a moment
my sky of stars
turned into
a mountain of mud;

the fickleness of nature
is forcing me to hide,

and in one flow of madness
the destruction of disaster
took the place of
the firmness of foundation;

the stubbornness of nature
is preventing her in seeking me.

Mother Earth loves to play
hide and seek -

and my buried thoughts
are always in the losing end.

    Sounds like a metaphor for what my hearts doing at the moment, all over the place and falling rapidly.

    Nice use of metaphor...how our thoughts can become caught in a landslide, and how stubbornness can hold us back. Glad to see a different prompt used. Well done. Thanks for your entry
