What can write a love story,
filled with smiles that reach
from head to foot,
better than puppy dog eyes,
which melt the heart
with their affection
or a wagging tail
bringing its story of happiness
as a warm and enchanting tale
to wrap the insides with a glow?
By a bark or whimper
there is a magic
sharing a special charm,
creating the gift of joy
one never stops
wanting to open.
