Darkness engulfs the most precious of hearts
Ripping and Tearing into painful parts
As a war erupts within me I pray
O please, let me live to see another day
To see through the eyes that weeped bloody tears
For too long I've been subjected to my fears
A light somehow pulled me away from sin
To teach a broken heart how to begin
Again, leaving the past sorrows behind
Letting in emotions of an unknown kind
I search his face and stop on those hazel eyes
His touch brings hope just like Noah and the dove
My heart skips a beat, I swear part of me dies
For I dont deserve his undying love
