In her might she strides bold
men set a fright,
but her words stress power
setting you to a weaken might.
She thrives on your strength
by stealing you to a coward,
taking all your wisdom twisting it
making you underpowered.
She walks with your ego inside
stolen to be meek,
always thinking she is power
but her voice feels reek.
Once we understand we fall
losing to her blows,
making us so weak we don't work
now I am strong, her words I dispose.

Very well done, a lot of character and not misplaced. A fine piece. Thank you for your wonderful entry in this contest.

Sounds like some bosses I've had -- in the past thank God. It could equally be true of men, I suppose, and I've seen a few of those too in positions of authority. I think that when women get into positions of power, they are very protective of it. Not meaning to go all Fem Lib on you!
