A tunnel of light surrounds me
A peace one only feels when dead
And yet my heart beats louder
The closer that you get
For a soul who wonders lonely
Stumbles when light isn't lit
Yet if you revel in darkness long enough
You'll never miss your step
For joy maybe of sunlight
A harsh unobtainable theme
But stay in your nocturnes Night Angel
Happiness is obtained through dreams

Beautiful Sentiments, Poet!!!
Dreams is a great poem!!!
I think the imagery is nice, although your chosen background, and the color of the text, tend to clash together - at least they clashed for me. The teal blue-green & red color combo reminds me of Christmas. Anyway, the last line is fabulous!!!
Best of luck in the contest!!!

Joy does seem unobtainable sometimes I agree, but thankfully we do have the twilight, we do have a subconscious that can guide us slowly through the darkness of our waking hours. I enjoyed this very much. It was very relatable...even magical.
