White sands beneath my feet
water so crystal clear
you can see the fish
swimming so near.
They nip at your ankles
but it doesn't really hurt
just takes you by surprise
and makes you more alert.
Seagulls flocking all around
waiting for a meal
keep watch for them though
as your bread they will steal.
Beautiful sea shells
washed up on the shore
covering the edge of the beach
and all along the sea floor.
When the darkness falls
and the stars light the sky
It is the most romantic place
and that I can't deny.
It has always been my dream
to make love on this beach
So tell me now if you can
do my dreams seem out of reach?
