Don't they care?
No one has phoned for a while.
I saw my mother and sister
two weeks ago? Three weeks ago?
I phoned my mother after that
to say I enjoyed myself
and left a message.
no reply.
I keep intending to phone again.
For sure, I will tonight.
Why have I put it off?
It's like I'm done for a while,
like they have seen me
and that's done.
In a while, something else
will come up. We will see
one another again.
Sounds a bit cold maybe.
But I know if I worry
about not hearing
from certain people
they are the ones
I care for most.
I trust they DO care
about me, especially
in times of sadness
and seasons of turmoil.

I hear you
Often as everything is going great we often forget to contact our loved ones .Even drop a note now and then but I think we are all guilty of this and later in our years we feel bad for we neglected to keep in touch now its too late
