It's supposed to be perfect
Supposed to be lovely
But we never think how
The sadness makes it
Much more than just that
Like looking out the glass
That cracks as time stirs
Shaking underneath a touch
Straining every moment
As rain pours down your face
Bars on an open door
Dirty sunshine baring down
Thorns crawling up and through
And the only rose
Has wilted and died away
An empty lake sitting silently
Still and utterly dull
Nothing living, nothing breathing
Waiting for eternity
And for what? I think,
We have forgotten
Alone now in a huge crowd
Everyone is blind and dumb
They walk their lies
And blurt their cries
Smiles like slits in their face
And
Ah, we say
How beautiful!
