A soul- Betrayed. Bewildered. Lost in the shimmer of the well,
Caught up in stolen dreams, and into the deep she fell,
The fresh air left her being, sucked out by the storm,
Her soul began to sink, and slowly she did mourn,
“How can I begin, to express my grave pain?
Your life was sucked way, deep down into the drain,
And with you is my soul, faithful at your side,
Here at heavens gates, ready to be your bride”.
A face of pink faded, turning to a yellowy blue,
Her last minutes were freedom, released from all she’s been through,
But suddenly a light within, bursting to live on,
Time to face the death in life, which she was running from,
“I cannot tell you more, then what my heart can bear,
I will miss the caress of your soul, the bliss and the care,
Though you must face the time in heaven, life is here for me,
One day I will meet you up there, letting us both be free”
She began to lift her soul, from the dark water surrounding,
But was held down by the beings, her failing heart pounding,
By the time her body floated, the life was gone within,
Now the path is ice cold, eternity is soon to begin.
