I am not the most perfect,
of faults i have many.
I dance like a goober,
and cant step on beat.
I'm fat, short,
and other things than that also.
But, what i do have is
determination, daring, dreaming.
I am determined to finish the race,
the race that God has set for me to finish.
I am daring enough to go for something,
even for the sake of trying.
I dream not of the child's dream,
but of first love, that authentic romance,
that when i grow up
i will find that certain someone.
When I meet that someone,
I will not take our relationship for granted,
that even when I'm eighty,
I will wake up each day thinking of how much I love her.
That is me.

A person that can admit they have faults, and then find the good aspects of themselves is strong beyond anything they know. I absolutely love this...the meanings to it, the reality of it. Bravo to you for being true to who you are and what you stand for. Best of luck in the contest.
