significance

the world is flat
and complementary lies
with the spectrum
of beginnings
and endings

it is spinning
out of control
with orderly cubes
of life and death
under

an anonymous thumb

the world is colorful
and shades
of black and white
trace
significant beings
called humans

the world is flat

I love the simplicity written here. If we all took time to look at the world from all angles maybe money, and power would tilt and some of the finery would sprinkle upon us all. The reality is, the world is the world and always has been as it is. People are the ones that ensue victory and defeat. There is so very much here poet. Thank you for this insightful entry. I wish you well in the challenge.

    Much Love ♥

so many thoughts kicked into touch with this one, but like others before me, the last line has a tendency to pull more from the write.

    'the world is flat...'

is it time we gave it a breath of fresh air and gave it back some life?

    Brilliant mind bender, well done.

The last line made me think of the end of sight...we can only see that far and mostly not beyond our own horizons. Loved the depth of thought here.

i agree with Marc...that last line is fantastic!

Too True. People think that though the world is colorful that it's nothing but black & white and the world is flat, if we can blow that concept out of the water we should be able to blow the concept of flat broke out as well.
    thought provoking, and detailed descriptions.
    Great job man!
