Globalization

The price of a loaf of bread traces
some greedy oily futures position
that collapses like the Bear Stearns,
or a deflated balloon,
when there is no news
except for terror attacks,
OPEC, the nuclear deal,
or McCain, Obama, and Palin,
when there is no concern
for unknown and unspoken
on whom nobody would
name a park bench.
