Your words, they come
Like little bombs
Dropping on my embittered ears
On unwilling and frightful people
I reject them as I know I should
But you speak them with a smile
I have to fight myself to not believe
The little lying bombs
As they come, I hide myself
Try to block the words from my mind
Like people running for cover
Trying to find a shelter amidst this attack
Your words, the bombs, fly to me
Ripping through me with each syllable
These ones, instead of merely harming me
Kill my maimed and bleeding heart

OOOOOOOH, I am in love with this one as well. Makes me think of lying about emotions in relationships, like telling someone you love them when you don't. Best of luck!
