I waited and waited till the moon vanished out of sight
I waited and waited till the sun burned my unrested eyes
you never came back

and yet i waited still in the blistering cold
in the heavy rain

I waited for you to come rescue me but you didn't you left me there to be
I waited to see your open arms reaching for me and as The children ran by I waited
The years went by and I waited
waited for you to make things right
I refused to give up
I waited when no one else would wait
I moved on alone for my heart kept waiting
and when it finally died and I moved on with it
you waited
and I never cameback
I left you all alone
Author notes
"as the children ran by i waited", signifies time. children grow but before they are born it takes time and after they are born they need time to grow that's how long i waited.
