and b is repeated on and on
and the echoes continue to drown out the first voices
where the echoes meet, is that new?
Bloated, decaying, cancerous.
The beast trudges on, unaware that the spark
it once called life
is gone.
"New" thoughts, garnered carelessly from the scenery
Echo in perpituity.
The old ideas,
The old ideals,
Long forgot,
Are resurrected without their meaning.
A shallow tribute to their former selves,
Twisted stand-ins,
Carboard cut-outs,
Boasting "FREE" on the supermarket shelves.

The endless bit at the end seemed...endless. A never ending cycle of life and death that keeps circulating and circulation until the poisonous river we're in pulls us down the drain with it.
