Stand up and stand out; leave behind your doubts
Pretend you know exactly where you have to go
They're attracted to poise, fake or otherwise
And won't have time to dig through a tangle of lies
(Testing, testing: three, two one
Don't let your composure come undone)
Once they see your passion, you'll be the new fashion
So hold your head high though this statement is a lie
Speak with poise and they'll certainly agree
Because they see nothing but who you pretend to be

Oh wow, ain't that the truth?

I haven't realize this but yes, I do agree. Many people pretend and we only see their facade. It's sad that we only think about our reputations and whatnot.
What I love about this is how you were letting the reader believe that being behind the mask is the best thing out there and at the same time, depending on the reader's value, lets the reader learn that it's actually not the best thing out there as well.
I find this theme like a paradox- something I look for in this contest, I guess so good job, all right
