harlots in doldrums
do devilish deeds
in an evening of
pleasing their
pleasuring pleas
and a cowboy
in leather fringes
purges
dabbled in decadent
flavors and urges
that follow
down side-street saloons
with a swinging sign

but sometimes it just happens
