You never cease to amaze me, with everything you do
Like how when you set your mind to something, you always see it through.

You stuck it out through thick & thin & good & bad, looking out for me and Dad.
And no matter the things that we would do & how ungrateful & hateful our actions and words were to you, your love stayed strong despite our many, many wrongs.

Through all your determination and will to help me
I have disappointed you, hurt you, and worried you so much over the years and the person that I became was so not worthy of your tears.
And even though I was not always a witness to them I know that they were shed, because I know how much of a hell I created, it all started in my head.

And even after I disappeared into my sick world that I created, one which I know you feared for me and you undoubtedly must have hated.
You let me live or die, you left it up to me.
And when the devil loosened his grip and finally set me free 
You still were there, once again waiting patiently.
You met me at the gates of my hell with your arms wide open.
You helped me gather all the pieces of me that seemed to be permanently broken.
And then with warm soft encouraging words that were spoken you led me to the place that was going to ultimately save me and it was then that I finally became awoken.

I want you to know that now that I am aware, I thank God for who you have been, who you are, and who you will always be to me……
