Met you last night,
our heart's first meet,
felt like it was a dream..love at first sight?
all I remember now..
is a faded memory of your smiling face..
and an old-fashioned name..

jumping out of the wrought iron bed..
I grab the pink Vaio..
expertly placing it on my bare lap..

Who, where, when, why?..
like popcorn explodes in a heated microwave oven,
bombarded with a million questions..my head spins in circles
I come across unfamiliar faces..
all sizes, colors and shapes
some beautiful..mostly mediocre
how can you not exist, I ask myself
so many share the same name, my mind screams - it's universal!
I stop..pause..process
do I know you?
I start to wonder, eye brow pulls up lightly
head tilting, brain searching for answers
calculating..
*Click* *Click* *Click*
Hands down, no sweat..a winner's smile
sending across a poke and a message..
letting out a sigh..
I crash into the sea of pillows, thinking while sinking..
thank you Mark Zuckerberg..

This poem is exactly how I feel on facebook. I jump from here to there, wondering who's asking for my friendship... thinking of random status comments... I don't want a world without facebook. It makes me happy and it makes me happy to be in contact with all of my friends all of the time. fAcebook is fantastic. -
