Mom Charged With Throwing Kids in River

"ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - A mother was charged
Monday with murder and attempted murder for
allegedly throwing her twin sons into the
Mississippi River on the Fourth of July.
One toddler died; the other was rescued.

Naomi Gaines, 24, also jumped into the river,
shouting, "Freedom!'' on the way down,
according to authorities. She was rescued,
taken to a hospital and later arrested.
Gaines was charged with murder in the death of
her 14-month-old son, Sincere Understanding Allah,
and with attempted murder of his twin brother,
Supreme Knowledge Allah, who survived the
75-foot fall and was rescued from the water
by an onlooker.

The episode unfolded in front of thousands of
people who were at the Taste of Minnesota food
and music festival. Many of the festival goers
were settling near the downtown waterfront
for the fireworks show.

Gaines took the twins to the festival looking
"for a friendly face,'' authorities said in
court papers. She pushed her stroller to the
Wabasha Street Bridge, kissed each son and
said she was sorry before throwing the boys
from the bridge one at a time, authorities said.

According to authorities, Gaines told officers
she would "rather be dead than live in a place
where I'm not free to walk around. I'm not free
to be who I am.'' Police Cmdr. Brian Coyle said
Gaines was clear-headed when she spoke with
police, but he would not discuss what she said.

Neighbors and friends have described Gaines
as a sad and lonely woman. Her sister,
Phyllis Chew, said Sunday that Gaines was
always a `very caring mother' but had been
under `continuous and emotional distress over
a long period of time. '' Gaines has other
children who were placed with relatives,
police said."

Editor's note by Horus8

When I first read this story I became
really upset. I just kept thinking of all
the words that stupid cunt could have said,
and tapping my foot and shaking my head.
When these thing are happening in
the heart of America (The mid west)
you just have to say to yourself it's our
fault for being the richest most
socially, self centered
narcissistic Country on the face of the planet.
But no that would be ridiculous.
It's their fault God Dammit, but no...
That some how feels wrong too. Then,
like a lightbulb it hit me.
'It was her fault' for letting it get
to her before the love and trust of
her children could prove it all wrong and
make it all better, but no, "Freedom!".
"Freedom" she says. Yeah,
freedom from what though?

I thought everyone one of us should take a
good fucking look at this story, and be a
little more observant of one another, before
you're fishing your kids out of a river because
you haven't hugged your fucking wife for a
year and call her a 'fat ass' everyday.

Of all the fucking words "Freedom!"?
What a waste, that little boy might have
been the first black kid on Mars.
No, pardon me, he might have been
the first 'Man' on mars,
now that's higher thinking
Now he's just fucking free...
She should be thrown back off of that bridge
upon sentencing, and everyone should line up
on the bridge by the thousands and shout
"Fly free!" at her. Then, I might feel better,
but not a moment sooner.
I swear on my soul, not a moment sooner.

Also; I guess Supreme Knowledge was some
how 'stronger' than Supreme Understanding,
at least physically.  You can read
into that anyway that you want.
Those of you that can still fucking read,
and haven't decided to go putty
like the entire face of this planet
has. I feel surrounded by a camp
of butt sniffing monkeys that'll
rape my family and my life
for God at any moment, but
I'll tell you this. When the end
comes judging from the way
certain people react to things?
The riots will kill and rape you
for God before God ever finds you.

Yeah. How come you didn't run for governor? Hell, everyone else did. Even your little buddy Gary Coleman (yah, I got a story about him and me visiting strip clubs once - the kind where the girls were six times larger than him, but not as cute).

You're so political. I think you need to be more sensitive.

    Thought Provoking

"Freedom is just another word for nothing left to loose" as Janis once said.

And I said, once before, today, "God I love America. No where else in the free world is the cult of ignorance so savagely protected and allowed to flourish like treasured weeds in the garden of our literacy.", but that could also be worded to apply the ignorant as stains upon the fabric of our society. Ignorance of love, honor, pride, self-worth, family, others --- ignorance of EVERYTHING is celebrated and held forth as the grail from which to drink....and we're gonna see the results all too soon and the pissing and moaning and screaming of the foaming masses will reach the walls of Jericho and I hope to hell the trumpets sound not one minute too soon.

Fine. You provoked me. I'm gonna have to go do some dark deeds now and not take responsibility for my own actions just so I can fit back into the continuity of this dimension....god help me if I stand out.
