The darkest night has come for me,
Finding comfort in words unspoken
Silence grows stronger,
I think of that life that I never had,
Longing to reach out and grab it,
Everything that I've ever cared about
Fades away right before my eyes
The time has come to say goodbye
But how do you do that
When you've never been given the chance
To confront the one who hurt you?
Confusion within me,
Bitter is what I've become
Darkness consumes me
And I can't face tomorrow
For the fear of what it will bring
