Missing image
There are things that mean
  so much more,
Laughter, tears, hugs which we
  warmly adore.
Compassion, never turning
  love away,
Never cruel, not a bad word
  do they say.
What you may ask is this
  all about,
That brings such a joyous
  shout.
Family, where life is happy
  and free,
Where one is not afraid
  to just be.
Open hearts, warm smiles, one stands
  with open arms,
Always willing to keep you
  from harm.
The very best that comes to us
  beautiful and sweet,
God's love with us til comes
  time to meet.

    Hello my great brother. I loved this poem and how it expressed the need and compation of the family. Indeed family is where we are not afraid to be us and where we share our thoughts and life.
    You've always been there for me and I am so glad to meet you and now to call you part of my family. You've always been kind and comforting. My happiness of having you as AP brother can not be expressed.

      Thanks ever so much! 's Yes, this is one of my pics! We have a small walking trail they call a bike trail just outside of town and there is a stream flowing by it. Last summer there was three families of geese who made their nest there and countless ducks.'s I thought it would go nicely with this. Dramalady is a wonderful person I met here a short time ago. I am honored to be a part of her AP family.

      Thank you ever so much, being a part of ones family has a special meaning for me, for having none of my own there are many times especially during holidays which are so difficult to get through. Just to be able to laugh, cry and simply share is something which has not been mine for a very long time.
