On tip of tongue my colour fades
where man has been before
into the deepest depths of joy
where one shall long for more
I tantalize and satisfy
a job that's so well done
outside I'm just a sugar treat
inside I'm so much fun
The shade of love and sacrifice
I give it all to you
in one small swoop of happiness
not like my cousin blue
and green and orange wait in line
whilst yellow leaps ahead
to watch you push them all aside
and pick me up instead.

What can I say that Jackie didn't? This was fun and adventure, and written so well.
And the rhyme is quite well done, too--how long did it take for you to write this? "cousin blue" is interesting, since red and blue are often side-by-side.
